Dust the weave regularly with a soft, dry brush or vacuum on a low setting using a soft brush attachment, working in the direction of the weave. Wipe occasionally with a barely damp cloth and dry thoroughly; never soak rattan or cane, as moisture causes it to swell, sag and eventually split. Keep away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight, which dries the fibres and fades the colour. Indoor use only. As each piece is hand-woven, slight variations in size, colour and weave are expected.
